2019 Is a Very Exciting Year!

2019 is a very exciting year for EdTech and the future of education. With more and more students consumed by technology, and schools shifting in that direction at a rapid pace, we are dedicated to being on the forefront of this revolution. One of the biggest obstacles facing schools during this massive transition is the teacher’s buy-in. Throughout 2019, you will see EdTech Software continue to forge relationships with publishers throughout the K12 ecosystem, expand upon the Shelfit platform, and expand our focus on supporting teachers.

EdTech is committed to taking personal responsibility for the success of each client throughout the digital transition. We will go the extra mile to make it simple for teachers and administrators. Technology Paves the Way for College Success

Fortunately, today’s kids are comfortable with technology (it seems like they learn to use a mouse before a spoon!). Leveraging technology in the classroom to provide engaging learning experiences not only amps up the education process, it prepares students for their college years and beyond.

One important step on the path to college would be the college admissions exams. In recent years these exams have become more stringent, requiring students be in top form. With EdTech’s Study.ShelfIt.com website, students can access test prep courses to help them prepare for test day.

2. Suite Basics
No matter what the field of study, students need to know how to create, edit and modify documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), Adobe Reader, Skype, and Dropbox are just a few applications used by most college students.

Technology encourages students to collaborate more, giving them the opportunity to work on team projects regardless of time or location. As students work together, they learn how to listen, work well with others and work through conflict to find the best solution.

Spam, phishing, too much personal information sharing, stalkers, and more are all topics students need to be aware of. With connected classrooms before college, students gain important knowledge about the code of conduct necessary to navigate the use of the material accessed.
